I have an audio DTS stream about 50 min. in length (it is not DTS wav, but pure DTS) that I'd like to multiplex to VOB file so that I can burn it to a CD (as miniDVD) and listen to it on my DVD player (my player does support miniDVD format). However, I don't want to have any MPEG video file, but only DTS stream, in my VOB. Is it possible to do this, perhaps by way of creating a dummy MPEG file? If it is, how do I do that, using preferably some of freeware programs available (I do not own any commercial authoring packages). I tried using a very small MPEG file with my DTS stream and multiplexing it with IfoEdit. It worked, except that my DVD player would read the length of my VOB file as 2 sec., rather than about 50 min., long (I'm assuming that MPEG portion of VOB is used for this purpose, or could it be that, while multiplexing, MPEG stream was placed before DTS stream, rather than running parallelly?) So is there any other method I could use to get a VOB file with DTS stream only embedded, and have my player read the full time length of the file.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
