Im trying to convert an avi into mpeg1. I use virtual dub to rip the audio and convert it into wav using the guide, and even made a file with just the visual (also shown in the guide). However, about 20mins in the audio goes out of synch (a lot) I figured it might be a bug with vdub but I noticed that when the time of the audio and video file aren't the same! And im guessing they should be for them to match when the mpeg is being made by tmpenc.

So is there a problem with the audio in the file? I thought once we extracted the audio and saved it as a wav format there was meant to be no compatibility issues? Or have I a bug in my vdub?
Help!

Thanx
