since SVCD mpeg-2 files or m2v files are in mpeg-2 format and DVD Vob files are in mpeg-2 format, then would it be possible to take a bunch of say m2v files and encode them into vob files with different chapters for each file encoded OR encode the files as one big mega SVCD?? I would think that the latter may not be compatible even with SVCD capable DVD players because the SVCD is on a DVD. However the former should be possible right? And it should play in any DVD player right since it would be in a DVD format only the res would be 480X480 since it is SVCD/m2v?

If so, what program would you use to do the former? I know you can do the latter with like Nero or some other CD authoring software. ANy help would be appreciated.
