Need help for make vob.

I'm new in here so hope you who know this stuff could help me.
I got my first DVD+R burner, it is a Nec 1100A, and burns R-4 times.
So I would like to know how to fix vob. file for my avi film?
Hot to doo it and what software to use?

Since u r new to this and the issues involved r too many to mention and try to explain in a post, I suggest to spend a lot of time in www.doom9.org and study the encoding guides. Especially the cce one. It will take through the steps of transforming an avi to mpeg2 video stream.

After that u have to produce the audio and subtitle parts and author them all together.

As u can see there r a lot od steps. Take one at a time and study it. U have to catch up more than 2 years in progress in the field.

I mean that I would like to know how to make for my avi film. I make my film in DV and have a avi so how to make of them vob.
Like I was saying, I know that it should bee mpeg but the program to make vob. file with. what to use?

I'm NOT saying anything about riping a film or so but how my avi should be turnd to vob. so I can burn it on a DVD R/RW.

you can use CCE (version 2.64+ natively supports DV, otherwise it requires a VFW codec such as the canopus DV decoder codec) to encode it.

after encoding you can use a DVD authoring program (you pick it, then we help) to create the VOB's.

if you currently have an authoring program, the name of it would help to help you in the authoring, otherwise if you need one, let us know what price range you are looking at.
