hi alex,
sorry if i always disturb you, but i need your help!
first of all: many compliments for your avi_mux_gui!
so, with windvd platinum, dts stream goes to spdif without any problems (i just bought an external dts decoder :D ), but at regular brake (about ten minutes) there is a jump of 3-4 seconds during the playback of the movie!
can you help me!?!?

thanks

Can you replay the DTS file itself? Does it have that brake as well? Do such brakes occur more often, or only at that one position?

hi alex:
1 i can replay correctly dts file itself.
2 replaying dts file itself isn't any brake!!!!
3 if isn't any brake.......

now there is another problem: yesteday i've formatted my pc because a dork hacker destroyed my os (win xp pro) and after the new installation, playback of avi\dts movie doesn't go :( :( :( !
i'm very very angry! i don't now how that is possible:
i've installed dts filter, windvd 4.5 platinum, bespdif (DSPguru), but nothing:mad:  !
the playback of avi\ac3 movie instead doesn't have any problem.
i can play dts file itself without any problem
i can play dvd with dts without any problem

why before the new intallation of win there isn't any problem and now don't goes anything? do i forgot to install other utility?
please help me, help me, help me :( :( :(

Hi alex,
i'm sorry for my precedent post: probably i found the solution!!
i've uninstalled and reinstalled windvd platinum and dts stream goes correctly to spdif (my decoder has a notification led that turn on when arrive a dts flow):D !

the brake\jump problem, instead, is remained like before formattation, but probably i found the solution:
(probably you just know that i tell you, but could be serv you)

i've noted that after uninstall windvd dts go correctly to spdif with any other player: i've used windvd, bsplayer and powerdivx: probably isn't windvd that make possible the playback of avi\dts movie, but another its component that remain installed also after you uninstall windvd. what do you think!?!?

Windvd and bsplayer don't solve the brake\jump problem.
powerdivx reproduce correctly video stream, without any jump in the total duration of movie, and send correctly dts stream to spdif!!:D

what do you think? I'm like these smilies::confused:

bye

Someone in another thread has posted that he can't replay DTS AVI files with BSPlayer either...

The smiley I like most is the :beurk: smiley on gravure-news
