capture / de-interlace

Can anybody help im capturing tv using vdub 1.5.1 @480x576, if i try adding the de-interlace filter 2 capture it sets @ 320x240 by default.
is their a way 2 change this 2 my res?:confused:
i have tried other 3rd party filters but they all self set 2 320x240

It is possible that your capture equipment only supports 320X240 captures and not higher

can u capture at that res without the filter??

yer i can capture in any res up to the max allowed 720x576 no prbs,

just carnt add the de interlace filter @ the capture stage 480x576 :(

Dont understand why about the deintelace filter. But have u tried Smart Deinterlace instead of the internal deinterlace filter. its written differently and maybe it does not have this problem. Plus its better than the internal filter in my opinion anyway

ive sent u an email with all the deinterlace filters id ever use

my reccomendation is the smart deinterlace

think that filter u recomend is the same as the inbuilt 1 same file size same results as far as i can c.

how do u capture? do u capture with the filter or reprocess with it?:confused:

Hi its not the same as the inbuilt one in fact none of them are the same but anyway...

I capture to Huffyuv first at full res (normally 640 X 480 for tv captures) and then i use virtual dub to deinterlace and resize etc.

I dont capture with filters directly as i dont have the processing power to be able to do so
