I haven't been using DVD2SVCD for a couple of months but recently downloaded ver 1.1.2 build 1. Now, whatever settings I use every time the process stops at the CCE stage with the following error message "Failed to execute Cinema Craft Encoder properly. Invalid handle." I have tried going back to the previous version (the one released in Nov 02) but to no avail. Some time between when DVD2SVCD last worked for me and now I installed DoItFast4U and tried it. Could this somehow be the culprit? Please, assistance needed!
TIA

One simple thing I could suggest is to uninstall both DVD2SVCD and Cinema Craft Encoder. Reboot and install them again.
It might solve ur problem.

OK, thanks but I tried that and I still get this weird error. Anyone else?

What version of CCE are you using? I would place a bet that you're using 2.66 which is still unsupported.
If this is the case, a simple search could have solved your problem

try uninstalling Doitfast4u, then reboot you can also make sure your not overclocking and check make sure that your system isn't having a hardware failure mostly ram or heat......

Uninstalled DVD2SVCD, CCE and DoItFast4U. Still did not work. Reinstalling CCE to another drive did the trick though. Very strange. Thanks for your comments/help.

Weird! Sorry for jumping to conclusions, but this is the only time that I have seen that error message. Must have been some weird registry settings or left over files.
