If your subs are crashing with the 1.0.9.x betas, read this

It has become known that certain people are experiencing crashes with the sub processing in the 1.0.9.x betas. The issue has been diagnosed as related to the 'vs' utilities (more likely vsrip.exe) created by Gabest, but no further fix seems possible until Gabest can get a DVD that does this. So if you are experiencing this symptom, please let me know the movie name and region of the DVD you are seeing this on, so we can physically find a match. We will work out this issue as fast as we can, however at this point we're lost on ideas of how to proceed without the actual DVD.

Stigmata (R2) if reading from the CD and not from a mounted ISO, doitf4u crashes repeatedly.

Sorry I should have clarified. Some of the direct from DVDROM reads I'm not going to be able to do anything about very easily, hence the suggestion to image to .iso and then mount with daemon-tools. But I heard lately that some people are experiencing this crashing even with .iso mounted images...
