Has anyone seen the error "Corrupt DVD Data" when trying to preview certain titles with IC? For example, this happens to me on title 30 in the movie Signs: Special Edition (R1). All the other titles in that movie preview fine. This also happens on several titles of The Matrix Revisited (R1)...
BTW, I'm having a heck of a time trying to use IC on Signs: Special Edition (R1). Either it will hang when analyzing some part of the menu structure, or if I set the menu to 100%, it hangs at the very end of the job, around 97-99%. Has anyone tried this movie with success?
Thanks!

yeah first time ever. got the error today twice on two different movies very odd indeed.....but i wouldnt worry too much, either was the ripper prog or ic it didnt cause any play back probs.i also think it may be picking up some files which arent titles?????

I think this is definitely just an IC issue, not a ripper problem. The reason I say this is that I tried using other apps like WinDVD and IFOEdit to look at the video that is supposed to go with title 30 on the Signs disc and all was well. I only get the Corrupt DVD Data problem when previewing in IC.
Also, even though I have this problem on some titles of The Matrix Revisited (R1), it ran through IC just fine and plays perfectly. However, Signs: Special Edition (R1) just won't play nice!
I've used IC to make more that 10 backups so far and most have gone without a hitch. The only other movie I've had problems with was Road to Perdition (R1). At first, it would always hang when analyzing menus, but eventually I happened on a combination of compression settings for the titles that worked. After making all the way through analyzing menus, IC then worked perfectly on this disc.
There are some very weird bugs in IC which I hope they can fix! I don't know if it's a multi-angle thing, a seamless branching thing, or what, but I gess for now there just are some discs that will not work... Too bad!

The reason it was hanging on Road to perdition is that the Chapter selection menu for chapters 1-4 is corrrupt. The menu system on the original is messed up.

Thanks for the info!
BTW, I was finally able to backup Signs: Special Edition (R1). It turns out that IC has problems with certain video drivers. In my case, and others I know of, ATI Catalyst drivers... Anyway, I used the reg hack to turn off the image display while transcoding and my problems went away!
