a family member encoded a home movie using xvid ...
i can play it on the computer fine.
i want to play it on home dvd machine so wish to encode to svcd ...
i did by using dvd2svcd / avi2svcd. in doing so the audio gets
ahead of the video and stays out of sync.
i tried vdub uncompressing audio by writing an avi file using
the following parameters
video direct
audio full / uncompress
and the new avi file is out of sync too
i tried uncompressing the video and audio ...
the video falls way behind the audio ...

gspot says video is 23.976 FPS

in general ... how can i solve this audio video sync issue?
am i doing something wrong?
do i have a bad xvid codec?
can i delay the audio and stetch it over time? how?
can someone from doom9 please post in the guides how to convert
xvid to svcd?
