Hi all!

I'm relativly new to this forum, and only stumbled on to Doom9 by accident back in Dec/2002. I can't tear myself away. I'm addicted!

I've installed the InstantCopy update succesfully, and in going over some of the posted registry tweaks, I was looking at:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\vob\CD Wizard\7.0\Copy\CurrentSettings\CopyPrecision]

Default setting is [cplow]

My question is, if this were set to [cphigh] would it improve the overal quality/look of the finished 1:1 copy?

I like InstantCopy, but I'm not very impressed with the quality/look of the dupicated video. It just doesn't compare to CCE & the other more complex methods posted here at doom9 in the guides section. Is there a way to make the copy quality better in InstaCopy, or are we stuck with accepting that; [it is what it is..]?

CopyPrecision affects audio copy quality of audio cds - has nothing to do with dvd copying.

Decrease your extras, menus etc.
Deselect some languages especially dts tracks

Increase your main movie space.

If quality is even then below your concerns delete this 49 € soft and return back to your 1.950 $ encoder and 30.000 $ authoring proggie ... or buy the original (maybe even twice).

Or do movie only :D

No offense intended ;)

If you keep main movie above 75% you'll most likely be happy with the results.
