View Full Version : Bring It On and Instant Copy

Has anyone had success with Bring It On and Instant Copy?? I can't make a working movie-only copy of this using Instant Copy. The problem is the same on all my attempts. I can't view beyond Chapter 8. I've tried stripping the extras using IFOedit and then using Instant Copy with the same results. I was hoping the patch would fix this glitch but after trying version 7.0.1, I'm still having the same problems.
Things I've tried: Auto settings, leaving all prohibitions, removing prohibitions, removing DTS, DTS only, AC3 only, etc...
I have tried DVD2One, and it worked fine, but the quality is not quite there.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeneral

@valnar
Not that I know of. It was probably one of those easy "backup and move on to the next DVD" types.

Well, for anyone that cares, I managed to find a solution to my problem. The problem was NOT Instant Copy but UltraISO. I was using UltraISO 5.5 which allowed me to open and extract the files from IC. Well, even though it appeared the files were extracting, it was actually corrupting the header. I used PDI2ISO, mounted the file and everything was fine.
Thanks,

LOL :D
I tried that and suggested that method to extract PDI files and got shot down cos it didn't work (failure is the first step on the ladder to success)
hope you never went offa my suggestion from a while back tho jeneral cos it was a complete loada rubbish, like most of my posts are :)

Actually, I did get the idea from someone's post in this forum. Maybe it was your post. I can't recall, exactly. :D
I must admit, that even I was fooled because it appeared to work correctly, but the stupid movie would ALWAYS fail at the same spot. Had the extracted movie not played at ALL, I would've noticed the problem sooner.
