Hi there.
What's the best way to create a subpicture with text for a DVD menu?
I use Photoshop to create the text for the menu and it gives me 5 different choices i.e. " none, sharp, crisp, strong and smooth".
Here's what I've been doing:
1 - I create the menu with an image and the menu options at 720x540. Resize it to 720x480 and save it as .psd
2 - I create a subpicture with the menu options in black and white background at 720x540. Resize it to 720x480 and save it as .bmp
3 - Import them into Scenarist, blah, blah, blah...
It seems that no matter what setting I use for the fonts in Photoshop, I can still see a little bit of the text on the background when the menu option is highlighted.
Here's a link to a zipped file in case someone wants to take a look at the them (.psd, .bmp, .bup, .ifo and .vob).It's only 376k zipped.

Thanks in advance.
