Subtitles

Hi,

I made a foreign movie (spanish), but instead of choosing permanent subs, I chose SVCD subs. Since my dvd player can't be subs, do I have to remake the whole svcd? Or can I somehow put the subtitles into the muxed mpg file? I hate to have to redo the whole thing (12hrs+). thanks

Please try to be more specific in your title.

I do believe you will have to start over. At the minimum you will have to start over from the video encoding since in Perm subs the text is made right into the video. Since that is the longest part probably best just to start all over so you reduce the chance of any problems.
