:D

This image was almost completely made in VirtualDubMod (the logo and girl I ripped from two different images via images.google.com and cut them out in Paint Shop Pro, the rest is vdub):

Used filters are resizers, sharpeners, smart smoothers (the original sakaki was plagued with moire patterns), a levels and colors adjuster, and last but not least rotate2 for the logo :p.

Yeah yeah, I know, this one looks like all the other azumanga wallpapers out there, I don't care! I wanted to do one of these for some time and I figured it'd be kewl to do it in vdub.

Have any of you ever used vdub for crazy things like this (I've regularly used it to filter manga scans and other drawings) ?

Heh, cool. Reminds me of the AMV I did completely in Avisynth :p

Ooo, that's evil! If I ever make an AMV it'll be in something like premiere I think :).

I dunno, I bet avisynth would be a bit more stable :|

I vow to one day make an amv using nothing but mpeg2cut

I started doing it in Premiere, got fed up with it after like 5 minutes and switched over to avisynth :p

Hmm, that sounds like me working in Photoshop. I can't stand it longer than a few minutes before I have to get back to Paint Shop Pro :D.

Meh, by the time it would take me to learn how to use photoshop to its fullest extent I could've made a lifetimes worth of great projects in PSP :\

well nah, probably not, but you get the idea

Before I even come close to learn how to use photoshop to its fullest extent I've already destroyed some of the instruments necessary to work with it (e.g. keyboard, mouse, monitor).

I'm the exact opposite, Ive been using Photoshop for years and every time I try to get to know PSP I end up kicking the PC in disgust.

Yep I've used virtualdub and avisynth to process images before. Things would be a hell of a lot easier if there was decent spatial cleaners in photoshop :p
