I have had very good success with using DVDDecrypter and then IFOEdit to strip out extra sound tracks I don't need so that 70% of the DVDs will fit on a single DVD.

When I need to break it into 2 DVDs, I have been taking the VTS_01_5.VOB and the VTS_01_6.VOB - renaming them to VTS_01_1.VOB and VTS_01_2.VOB, using IFOEdit to create IFOs, doing the GET VTS Sectors, and burning them using ImgTool.

This works quite well when I use PowerDVD to play them.

However, I've switched to ZoomPlayer for my DVD playing.

ZP will show the time line as 5 minutes, 6 seconds (even though it starts playing at the very 1st of the DVD as it should). I can use the next chapter, prev chapter buttons, but cannot click on the ZP position bar to change the movies position.

If I close ZP and open the DVD a 2nd time (where it auto stores a bookmark uses this to begin playing) it only shows the word 'menu' in the zoom player info field - but won't play anything. I can't use the menu to position at a chapter, I cannot get it to play without killing off the bookmark folder for the DVD.

PowerDVD plays the DVD fine, and shows the start time position at 0:00, ust as it should - and I can use the PowerDVD position bar to go to any position - and PowerDVD will use its bookmark and begin playing properly if I start it a 2nd time.

Blight (at ZoomPlayer) said that the Microsoft DVD Navigator was less forgiving of a badly authored DVD.

What do I need to do to take 2 VOBs, and put them on a 2nd DVD so that I won't have navigation problems? I thought that IFOEdit would take care of all of that when it generated the new IFOs?
