AC3FILTERS provided with the "Gordian Knot System Pack" causes problems during a DivX (with MP3 or AC3 sound) playback (the sound is cut, the video can be frozen during some seconds). The only solution i've found is to remove the AC3FILTERS but someone has an other solution ???

Have you tried to upgrade AC3Filters to the latest version? I know there has been at least one bugfix since the GKnot system pack was released. Check this page. (http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/)

Thanks for your assistance, but i've already follows the instructions of this page (which is provided with AC3FILTERS after the installation of the GKNOT pack) to find a solution to my problem. But the trouble was always present even after configuring the program. I've tried this morning to read my divx with older AC3 filters (dated of 1999), and there's no problem...I don't understand.....

If it causes problems with MP3 audio as well, it's not the AC3Filter. AC3Filter does not load when playing back MP3. Look elsewhere in your system configuration for the issue.

OVERACID23 : i've re-install and re-configure AC3FILTERS but the problem is always present on my system, for AC3 movies and MP3 movies. I have a SB Audigy 2 and in some post on other forums i've read that the Audigy 2 drivers may causes trouble with some applications. :(
Mr SWEDEN : i'll try to re-configure (again ) AC3FILTERS on my system but if my Audigy 2 drivers are concerned, i won't be able to find a solution to my problem (DAMN !!!!!!!!!!!).
Thanks for your suggestions.

Get the Reclock filter from the software page. You will have to click on all filters. That fixed the problem with the image freezing for me. Also there is a new version of the AC3Filter out and that may fix the problem.
If the audio is cutting in and out you'll need to upgrade your Audigy 2 Drivers (I had the same problem). For some reason I'd get a strange IKernel.exe error trying to install the new drivers if I did an auto update - and the problem would continue. Try downloading the drivers manually - and saving them (instead of opening or running from current location). That fixed the issue with AC3 Audio cutting in and out on my computer.
[EDIT] I tried the new version of the AC3Filter and it does indeed fix the problem with stuttering video on my box... yay!
