Apparently it's supposed to be a freeware program like DVD95Copy and Instantcopy. It's supposed to be in beta right now, but they say the 1.0 version should be released to the public in about a week. I saw this on the DVD95Copy board:

I have downloaded a beta-version of a program intitially called Carbon-DVD which does exactly the same job as DVD95Copy does but is (and will be in the furure as well!) completely freeware as it is written by people from the vcd/divx/dvd scene that previously brought us fine pieces of software for DVD-ripping! Be sure that as soon as the final version is out it will be all over the net!

...

The Beta-Version of Carbon-DVD was available on a Czech newsgroup two days ago. As I already mentioned to several people (who sent personal messages to me) it was a beta-version which hasn't been released to public yet. I was told that the V1.0 version should be release within a week from now on most major boards so you will find it for sure!

Does anyone know anything more about this program? I'm very interested to know if it has good filesize prediction. I'm tired of IC giving me 3.9 or 4.13 gig results, the link to purchase DVD95Copy is down, and it seems as though people are having trouble getting their 1.22 updates anyhow. I'm really looking forward to Carbon-DVD, if it really is in the works.
