CCE encoded file larger than the original, why?

I'm having a problem star wars 2. After CCE 2.50 has completed encoding, my file size is larger than the original. This is what I did.

1. I ripped the movie using Smartripper.

2. Create *.d2v file from the *.m2v file created by Smartripper using DVD2Avi.

3. Create a fake .AVI file from the *.d2v using VFAPI Reader.

What was your original size? Re-encoded size?

Does CCEGuessor account for the size of the audio?

Make it easy on yourself and use DVD2SVCD with the options you chose. I always do that, and delete all files except the pulldown encoded movie. Haven't had a single MPV file that was too large so far.

The original size of the movie is 5.2 GB and the final was 5.9 GB. I added the total audio file size of 456 MB to CCEGuessor and the output of 4.3 GB to get the average bitrate.
