Is Pinnicle going to Patch IC to fix the size issue?

Supposedly a patch from x.80 to x.9x will be coming out within two weeks (or so it says in their forums), I assume the delay is to fix any other outstanding issues and update both versions to a common one.

The retail version is already at .91 isn't it?

This being a Pinnacle product, i.e. the product of a real company with multiple products, and where software releases presumably follow commercial rules (locked versions, beta testing, etc.), I would not expect software updates to be anywhere near as frequent as you have seen for pipsqueak operations like 321 and DVD2one.

On the other hand, I would also not expect them to each come with a barrel full of new bugs, unlike certain pipsqueak operations I could mention.

A certain not so pip sqeek company is now up to 4 pages of movies that cause a crash. I don't think anyone large or small has a very clean slate with the current releases, freemarket economics at work. I think many of the problems are caused by the individual machines. We are guinea pigs just like we have always been with the ultimate crank it out before it is ready Micro$s.

Nope, if you look around, quite a few people purchased the .80 version from stores.

Well I am surprised! Look at the first sticky post in this forum and you'll find a link to a new Pinnacle update for the program...Everyone will be on the same page now...Claims of faster speed in early replies, although waiting for confirmation of that. Plus bug fixes, some registry settings you can change, etc.
