Trying to convert wav to ac3 via besweet

this is the error besweet (v0.6 b69 gui) keeps giving me:

Error 51: Unable to get hip.dll interfaces

i've downloaded gnot package. what else do i need to end up with an ac3 file that can be authored with a m2v file (i'm converting xvid to dvd using tmpgenc). thanks!

1. must I first uninstall what i have currently, ie., gknot package et al..?

2. also, i just visited your webpage---i'm guessing i only need the besweetv1.4 and the besweetgui v0.6b61, correct?

3. lastly, the only reason i'm converting wav to ac3 is b/c the mp2 audio that i re-authored in Ifoedit (Maestro would not accept the mp2 file) and burned onto dvd-r would not play.. first burn resulted in no audio whatsoever; 2nd burn yielded 100% distortion/noise.. do you know the reason?
