AVI to DVD Help! :-(

ok i followed the guide step by step for avi to dvd with no success. i got the two avi files put together, got the sound in an ac3 file, and using tmpg i encoded the avi to a mpg file. what now??? i tried ifoedits dvd author function with no success and i also have sonic mydvd which i tried and it wouldnt accept the file. i just need to get the sound and mpg to vob files! why is it so hard? the guide seems very broken and i feel that parts are missing and/or misused from other guides...i am soooo lost. someone please help me. thanks.

as long as you have encoded the avi to a elementary stream, mydvd should accept it.

otherwise its a DVD Authoring problem. what other authoring programs do you have access to?

i dont really have any other dvd authoring programs...i downloaded cce from this website but i cant figure out how to get that working.
