Frameserve from Premiere

Is there going to be an IPCsource-able plugin for avisynth 2.50, or do I have to go with link2 or some other avi-wrapper (actually don't know if such a one actually exists)? I don't rip, but use it extensively for DV-projects. I really like all the new features in 2.50, but it's kind of usesless to me if I can't frameserve from Premiere.

AFAIK only link2 or vfapi (not 100%sure as i don't work with premiere) works atm.
You may want to do a search in the DV forum, I think this problem was discussed already.

ulfschack, I kinda get the impression Avisynth 3.0 will have a broader scope and be less specific to capturing and ripping. I sure wish I was not broke and could afford to send a DVCam and a copy of Vegas or Premiere to each of the principles that are contributing so much of their time to the project. I would do that in a heartbeat if I could!

As DV'ers, maybe we can team up to (gently) keep our broader video needs in front of the group. Avisynth has so much potential for the pro and prosumer video community at large.

Really you say? 3.0 ? Guess I've not looked around too closely lately :) It's true that theese guys deserve every respect and praise, but (always the but) I'd be even more thankful if I could use anything above 1.05 without hassle ... just internal IPCSource. This HAS to be the most-wanted feature of all DV'rs.

I'll continue to contribute to the forum best as I can, but I have to say that the moderators are doing a very nice job of answering all questions. On slow fora (like the DV) there seem to be only enugh support-work for one guy to go around (bb is doing very well I think). But if you have any of your crasy ideas you'de like to try out you can count on me for sure :)

BTW. Vfapi doesn't seem to integrate nicely with premiere.
