Pack sychronisation error - Help

Hi

I am trying to open MPEG2 files that I have created with Leadtecks PVR program and one of the VIVO cards. The profile I select in the PVR is Mpeg2 4000bit/s. The resulting files will play fine in windows media player.

When I try to open the files in Virtual Dub I get an error;

'MPEG Import Filter: pack sysncronization error'

I will get a small example tonight to attach.

No need for an example: Just read the VirtualDub FAQ (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16662). The third question reads: When I open a mpeg file I get a 'pack synchronization error', what does that mean?
