TMPGEnc and IFOEdit Problem

I'm trying to re-encode VOB files using TMPGEnc and IFOEdit. What's funny is that the final VOB (after using IFOEdit to re-mux) is smaller in size then m2v file that I created (the m2v file was 711MB and the new VOB came out to be 705MB)! How can the final VOB (with audio and subs) be smaller than just the m2v file (which is just the video)? I played the new VOB using media player and PowerDVD, and the video became choppy, skippy, and slow. If I just play the m2v file, the video looks great. Re-mux to the new VOB file, and I get crap. Its like IFOEdit is using compression. If I encode using ReMPEG2, the new VOB comes out fine. I want to use TMPGEnc because the quality is way better than ReMPEG2. Any idea of what's going wrong? Its an NTSC DVD, 16:9 aspect ratio. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

After encoding with CCE and getting the same results (and getting very pissed), I found out where the problem was. At first I thought it was IFOEdit's fault since the TMPGEnc & CCE re-mux got screwed up, but then I remembered that it encoded the ReMPEG2 re-mux just fine. What does TMPGEnc and CCE have in common? One program that you have to use for both of them: DVD2AVI. I had forgot to use the "Force Film" option. Now I've encoded before not using "Force Film" and it came out fine, but that movie had a 4:3 aspect ratio. I guess you use "Force Film" on 16:9 movies and not on 4:3 movies, right? Let me know what the best way to go about a 4:3 movie that is 29.97 FPS and shows nothing but NTSC on the DVD2AVI status window. Thanks
