i think im getting confused here,i wish to leave the menu intact but want to dump all the extras, ive read a few posts on this subject and im not sure exactly what im suposed to do,at the moment im doing james bond world is not enough r2 the extras are massive so i just deselected them in ic,but i can still see them when i press start(when the prog goes through the test video jobby).
p.s can i stip these in ifoedit(never used it)cos some of the procedures discribed sound difficult,is tampering with the menu same as stripping the extras as far as difficulty goes,i hope someone knows what im talking aboput cos i sure dont!!!!

you still see them as it does the quality analysis regardless of whether you choose the title or not

it is confusing at 1st stripping using ifoedit but it best to try and use trial and error

you eventually get to know how the DVD structure is built and how it works and what bits you can take away without the structure failing :)

For this IfoEdit can be quite easy to use, assuming the movie is in the VTS_0m_x.vob set and all other vts sets are extras. If you can use IC afterwards may be another thing...

Put everything in a directory <path>\video_ts
For each vts set not containing the movie, delete vts_0n_1.vob, vts_0n_2.vob etc. Do not delete vts_0n_0.vob
Open the vts_0m_0.ifo that contains the movie in IfoEdit.
Click 'Get VTS sctors'
Done
Hopefully you now have a video_ts dir that is small enough to burn using your favourite method.

stripping doesnt take that long

its the learning how to do it that does :)
