DVD: The Ring, Region 1
Ripped with DVDDecrypter, ISO mode.
Used IC7, kept everything, but French Language, pushed the main movie a little, got a total of 4.19 GB (4,501,367,137 bytes). OK for me.
Used PDITools to turn into ISO. Checked with PowerDVD, plays ok.
Burned with DVDDecrypter on (Mucho Cheapo) Bulk Princo 1x (1.5 Euro)
DVD-R plays perfectly on Cyberhome, Star(?) and other Chinese players, BUT NOT on Philips 743 (It identifies it, and then the Philips thingies on top left of the TV dissappear and the player window goes blank or shows dashes - Ok, for you believers that have seen the movie, it was NOT Samara doing it, OK??? :) :) ).
I thought it was a Princo issue, so I used a Pioneer DVD-RW with the same procedure. Same thing.
Used PDITools to extract on VIDEO_TS folder, used RecordnowMAX to burn, everything works OK on everything.
I haven't tried burning directly from PDI, but nevertheless, I thought it is a strange issue that needs to be reported, even just for the record.
