That is my current project. but since the movie is too big to fit a dvd-r, even in "movie only" mode. i need to re-encode the movie.
I used DVD2DVD-R to do that for me. it uses CCE and ifo edit.
the problem is that i get buffer under-runs when the movie is authored. That's not all... if i author the movie with the original .m2v i still get the same error. So i guess it's not an encoding issue.
do you guys have any ideas??

if the answer is already here, then forgive me.
i did use the search button though! :p
@mods... feel free to change the thread to any other discussion room, as i was not sure on where to post!!

I think i know what was the problem... the error message was something like... the 0x20 stream will be delayed.
well, that stream is a subtitle stream. i recorded an +RW and discovered that the subs didn't show.
this time i used maestro to do the authoring. i'm recording the +rw again and i'll let you know the results.
i don't know if this thing happened because the movie is a warner one and the vobs are divided, meaning vob3 ends where the layer 1 ends, and vob4 begins in layer2.

in this particular title, which has the trailer and the warner logo in other PGC's i had to rip in IFO mode, then i extracted the subs using those resulting files. i realised if i didn't do that the subs would be late by the same amount of time of the sum of all the other pgc's (in this case +/-2 minutes for the trailer plus 11 seconds for the warner logo)
