Can Premiere recognize *Text Effects* created with Photoshop

I am creating a motion DVD menu with Premiere and Photoshop but am not getting Premiere to recognize my text effects such as Drop shadows, Bevel and Emboss, and Gradient Overlay. The Photoshop layers load fine in Premiere except I am only seeing the original text color with no effects.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

..don`t know anything about Premiere. But before importing some Photoshop created layers into Maestro you`ve got to reduce all existing layers to a single one.
Maybe that helps in your case, too...
