Can't find proper css key

I am running DVD Decrypter and SmartRipper on Win2k with enough RAM and HD space, and a Toshiba SD-M 1612 DVD-ROM.

Last night, i wanted to backup "Wahnsinnig verliebt" to HD, started DVD Decrypter which seemed to rip just fine. Until i started dvd2one which told me that it could'nt handle encrypted material. So no decryption took place. I took a closer look and noticed that DVD Decrypter told me that the DVD had no copyright protection system. I checked "Force CSS Present" in the settings menu, and now it switched to CSS/CPPM protection. Alas, ripping started with an i/o error, followed by a failure of the brute force cracker.

The i/o error was the following:

Brute Force failed because there were no vulnerable blocks.

There are no visible scratches on the DVD.

SmartRipper tells me that there are "No keys found to this encrypted file".

What can I do?

ok and vstrip took 20 minutes to tell me:

"vstrip could not decrypt [@LBA 1]"

I have no clue.

DVD2ONE seems to have a bug in which it reports that a vob file is encrypted when it isnt.

Trust my program and disable 'force css present' and then just rip it.

If you cant play the ripped files ok in windvd or whateve, THEN you have a problem. If it works ok, you'll know its just dvd2one behaving badly!

ok the vobs play fine from harddisk.. so they are not encrypted. Still, the problem persists, as InstantCopy too refuses them because it thinks they are encrypted...

so how can I make dvd2one accept these vobs? Any way to backup the DVD and keep the menu structure?

I fear the first DVD I am not able to copy is an unencrypted one...
