Cce Sp 2.50 Vs 2.66?

Has anyone compared 2.50 and 2.66? I noticed in the history log for 2.66 it says.

- Picture quality has improved.

is this noticable? I'm thinking of upgrading but I am so used to 2.50 and all the settings. In 2.66 they seemed to have changed the name of the settings or removed them completely, I wouldn't know where to start.

Is there an updated guide of 'getting the best out of cce' using version 2.66+?.

i think it may be advertizing bullshit. it seems logic that when any company releases a new product it has to be (or at least it should be) an inprovement compared to previous one.
the detonator drivers , or any version of M$ windows, could serve as examples.
of course i could always be wrong!!
