Could somebody please tell me if you can ADD Macrovision APS with ifoedit. Under the Macrovison drop down there is 'Add APS leve1-3' but its greyed out. The reason I ask it I produce my own DVD-r's and I want to stop people from coping them to tape.

Hmmm...I never noticed it was greyed out before but I know I'll never have the need to use it. Only Derrow, author of IFOedit, could give you a proper explanation. I'm assuming that it was a future implementation that wasn't completed.

The Macrovision flags are supposed to be ignored on DVD-Rs.
See the DVD FAQ #4.3.2 (http://dvddemystified.com/dvdfaq.html#4.3.2) Macrovision and CSS flags are only supposed to be checked on region-coded discs, however a few players do check the flags anyway and switch on Macrovision. I believe that the majority do not.

Note that if you're planning to sell your DVD-Rs and you do try to enable Macrovision then technically you owe them a royalty.

This option is enabled in the beta version only!

I'm not releasing this option in the public version, cause it will be used mostly by companies.
So why should I give them such a feature for free, while there are making money with it.
