Hi,
with CDex I extracted a song to .wav (both with lame mp3 encoder at CBR-bitrate and wavoutput-encoder at PCM-format). When I try to import it into Maestro I get an "incosistent bitrate" error or something like that. Then I try to convert it with Besweet to .ac3, but get a media detection error in maestro and when I try to re-convert with HeadAc3 to .wav I get an error that it can`t find an Ac3Header (whatever this is).
Can you give me any suggestions how to go on here?
Thanks,
TB

check your bitrate. It should be 48khz instead of the cd standard of 44khz.

Yes, I tried to resample it but that didn`t work either. Any more suggestions? Please help me out!

for the convertion to work in besweet, u have to use the SSRC.exe module.

I downloaded it now and will give it a try. Thanks for your response,

Don`t know why, but it just doesn`t work. :-/
I`ll post my commandline, okay? Maybe you find my mistake if there`s one:
"F:\dvd\besweet\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "H:\samplerate_tst\no artist\no title\02-AudioTrack 02.wav" -output "h:\authoring\menus\besweet\test_wavoutput.ac3" -logfilea BeSweet.log ) -ssrc( --rate 48000 ) -ota( -d 0 -g 0db ) -ac3enc( -b 448 )
Thanks,
TB

btw - did you mean the ssrc.DLL or .EXE - modul?

if u will use it through besweet u'll use the dll version, otherwise the standalone.
Its use it quite straightforward. Open up the gui, click the ssrc grey button, 3d on the left coloumn on the 7 selection gray area to the right of the gui. Locate the ssrc.exe, define the input and output wav. U r done!

Allright, it worked, at last ;-)
Thanks very much for your patience!
BTW there seems to be another ssrc.exe in the net, which is a compiling and extracting tool, and which has nothing to do with audio..
Whatever, happy now,
seeya,
TB
