LOTR came out black and white in PS2

Listen to this:I backed up LOTR in DVD5.Everything went ok, and in my pc it looked quite good.When I used a ps2 to watch it it was black and white.I have to mention that the original DVD was from the US.Can anyone help?cheers

Does it play oh ok in another DVD player? If it play's fine in other DVD player then the problem is with the PS2. If you still have the problem it might have a bug in your encoder program

Sounds like a Pal/NTSC issue between your PS2, TV and DVDR
