I have encoded a 23,976 NTSC movie in TmpgEnc with an Avisynth script, converting it to a PAL 25 fps 720x576 Mpeg2 DVD-compliant m2v-stream. Properties in Maestros Preferences set to PAL. But the program refuses to open the file, claiming that the stream is not compliant to the TV-settings (PAL) and it asks to force the settings to NTSC. Hence I cannot authorize my DVD and I am a bit confused. Will not TmpgEncs and Avisynths conversion do? Funny and strange enough. I might mention that SpruceUp accepts the stream immediately??!! Have I done something wrong here?
And another problem. The audio is an AC3 5.1 made out with Nandub/Besplice and BeSweet - to make the framerate suit PAL. It works great in the Mediaplayer and Winamp. But after the compilation in SpruceUp or Maestro (tried to make a NTSC) the audio is hardly audible when the volume is turned to maximum. This confuses me to...
I am new to the authorizing programs so maybe I have really missed something fundamental but I have searched the forum for a couple of hours without finding anything of help. Has anyone got a clue? I would be very thankful.
