Can I swap M2V files once I've authored and burned the DVD?

I spent some time looking for this, but didn't really see anything that answered this. Of course, it could be that what I was entering in the search field wasn't right.
I didn't realize this before I deleted the project, but one of my files is not in sync. I used Doom9's guide to encode some fansub anime files to a DVD compatible file. However, when I demuxed one of the episodes, virtual dub errored out on me. I finally got the audio and created an .ac3 of it. However, when watching the completed project yesterday, that one particular episode is not in sync. What I would like to do, is possibly take that one particular episode from the .vob files and swap it out with another M2V and .ac3 file that is in sync. Is this possible? Do the .vob files recognize that there are five different episodes on the DVD? Or do I need to re-encode the five episodes and author again? I used reelDVD to author my DVD.

if your assets r not all a continous file, u can replace the problematic one and reburn. If however this is not the case u have to split them in a way and reauthor.

They were five different assets that I dropped into ReelDVD. So, they should be different. I will use DVD decrypter to rip the DVD later. If they truly aren't one continuous file, how do I go about replacing the one problematic file? In other words, which program should I use to reburn it?
OK, I opened DVD Decrypter and saw the .vob's. I went into IFO mode and saw all of the PGC's listed there. PGC 2 is the episode I want to repair. I now have a working .ac3 that will be in sync with that episode. I guess I'm confused where to go now. Any hints how to swap those .ac3 files, put the correct one in, and then have it accept those settings and re-burn?

When u dropped the assets into ReelDVD it just created a pointer to the file. All u have to do is give your new assets the exact same name as the old ones and put them in the same spot.

Fire up your ReelDVD and open the project that, I assume, u have saved.

It should substitute the assets and u r ready to burn.

That's the thing. I deleted the project because it plays great on all of my DVD players. I didn't notice the syncing problem on that one episode until I really sat down to watch this episode. I think it's too late and I need to use DVD decrypter to demux the files i need and start over.
