Problems with wave files?!

Hi,

When I play wave files the sound stutters!I extract this wave files out of an avi file with virtualdub.I want to use to wave file to convert the avi to svcd but with this stuttering sound its not possible.What can I do?

what you extract from avis is most of the time MP3, not WAV. Rename in MP3 first.

You can use GSpot (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Editing/gspot21.zip) to determine what audio and video codecs are used in any .avi file.
