ive been trying to make complete backup of pi using scenarist and i keep getting the following error...

Error Can not read a GOP at 01:23:19:19 (try to read = 5939484 B; read done = 3144624 B).
Error Please check the video stream (D:\Movie\VTS01\VTS__01_P01.4~3_1.mpv.M2V) or the .vif file or re-generate them.

and so on...
pi is a little different then all the other movies that ive ever tried to backup in that it has all the extras and the main movie in the same vts series. The error happens to occur at the very end of the main movie and the first pgc.
Can anyone help?

As it says, you either have a corrupt VIF file or the video stream has a problem with it. Delete the corresponding VIF file and let Scenarist recreate it. If this doesn't work then it's definitely a problem with the video stream itself. Though I can't tell you precisely what the issue is, I can assure you it has nothing to do with the extras being in the same VTS. This is quite common.

ok i created a new vif file and it still doesnt work....i started watching the actual dvd to see what happens when i keep getting my error. right when the error occurs the main movie ends and it shows a small clip from the VIDEO_TS vob. could this be the reason for my error or am i just retarded.

No, something is wrong with the MPEG stream itself. Even if you were leaving something out, Scenarist would not report a GOP error to you. It must have something to do with the way the MPEG video was handled. What did you use to encode it with anyway? What were your settings?

i encoded each pgc seperately with cce using the RoBa method.

I can't help but think you have a bad encode. I recommend you try re-encoding the problematic PGC.
