I've done an exhaustive search through the forums.
I've read the vfapi guide on the help section of doom.

I cannot figure out why I cannot open the D2v file that dvd2avi creates when I run Vfapi. The pulldown menu only has .tpr options for tmpngenc and dvd2avi. I've double clicked and installed the .bat file within Vfapi and I've entered that registry value within avisynth. (I dont know how to use avisynth) I'm just following a guide to create a DVDr using CCE. I'm stuck on this VFAPI part.

Ok, I may have answered my own question, but I'm at work and cant check it out. It may be the version of DVD2AVI that I'm using. I'll check that out.

Hi,

all of a sudden im having the exact same problem, VFAPI Conv 1.05 wont list my DVD2AVI d2v file as an option to load in the dropdown list of available files. Its always worked properly in the past, i dont get it. Ive run "proxyoff" inside virtualdub just to see but its made no difference.

All i am allowed to load in VFAPIConv now is a TMPGEnc project...something ive never had the need to do. Im using the same version of DVD2AVI that ive always used (1.76)...i dont understand what the prob is...anyone figured this out? i got conversions to do!!

Many thanks,
Blackout

DoItFast4U seemed to be the problem, uninstalling it and rebooting has fixed things.

Cheers,
blackout.

Rule #??. Really can't remember what rule is it but it states don't be rude and insulting in your posts.

U can't blame DoItFast4U for your problem. Eyes' Only is doing a hell of a job just to help us all in this hobby of ours and he is doing it for free.

I would strike u if I was a mod.

Hello, Blackout,

I indeed have to apologize for my post also. It was indeed a bit 'over the top'.

Sorry.
