View Full Version : Audio bug in DVD95Copy

I did two movies (SpyKids 2 and The Rules of Attraction) and in both DVD95copy backups, my root menu does not have any audio. I checked both the originals and it's there.

Both of my movies were in titleset 1 and the ones in my DVD95Copy are smaller in size than it's original. Thinking that the audio was lost in the transcoding, I replaced DVD95Copy's VTS_01_0.VOBs on both movies with their originals and then got VTS Sectors. And you know what? My menu's audio is playing now. That's the fix! But there's a downside to this. Unfortunately, the added original VTS_01_0.VOBs took my DVD size over 4.7 GB so I couldn't burn it to disk.

Has anyone experience this?

UPDATE: My work around was to use DVD2One to shrink my largest titleset that contained my extras in Spy Kids 2. I subtracted my DVD96Copy's VTS_01_0.VOB size from it's original counterpart. I then subtracted this size from my selected "Extras" titleset to get my size input into DVD2One. Did the rename, replace, and IFOupdate procedure and everything fits now and my menu's audio is present too.

It seems more people are having problems retaining audio in menus and extras using DVD95Copy 1.1 or 1.2. Here's the link to a thread on this matter in DVD95Copy's Official Support Forum. > no audio on extra's?? (http://www.dvd-backup.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=98)
