frame serv mpg?

i have a mpg(vcd) of a family movie i would like to run thou CCE and resize the res so i could load it onto a dvd-r? how would i frame serv it and resize the resolution of this mpg1?

You could use AviSynth as the frame server and resize to 720x576 (PAL) or 720x480 (NTSC).

But why would you want to do this? The quality won't improve; in fact it will get worse because of the recompression, although you'd use a higher bitrate and MPEG-2 instead of MPEG-1. For best quality either
- stay with your VCD (should play in most DVD players) or
- encode the DVD from the original DV source (if you still have it).
