DVD --> DivX

hi guys. I'm trying to do a divx but i had a lot of problems with the video encoder. whats the best encoder to use to get the best video results ? I tried FlskMEPEG, DVD2AVI, Gordian pack, Nandub, Virtualdub, etc .But I think that I'm in the wrong way. The programs that i red about in the guides are not the same versions tha I can find in internet.

Please I need some help !!!!

I'm not sure what your problem is. DVD2AVI through GK to Nandub/Xvid/Divx5 should all give good quality. If you're just starting out, try one of the latter two. As for the programs, they can be downloaded in the software download section of the site. Read the guides and have fun.
