Just wondered if anyone here uses it ? I just did a AVI to DVD conversion and I thought the quality was excellent. I just haven't heard much mentioned about the software.

Also, I use CCE, and for some reason it wont copy Divx AVI files to DVD mpeg 2. Even if I seperate it to encode both audio and video seperatley the audio just comes out silent.

Any advice or help ?

Cheers.

Jon

What version are you using. I currently use version 1.0.1.35.
I also think the quality for dv-> svcd is great (that's all I have tested)

I am using the exact same version as you. Quality is really great. I know it takes around 4 hours, but it is worth it, it has converted DIVX and other difficult files straight to DVD. Usually I have to strip the audio first to covert to DVD from Divx, but not with ProCoder.

Been using ProCoder for a while now, great program.
Only problems I've had with it, is that it doesn't like to do non-standard VCD/SVCD. My old DVD player (Philips 930) wouldn't play SVCD's but I could make VCD's with any resolution, with bitrates up to about 1400. It loved these, and I was hard pushed to tell the diff. between these and SVCD's.
Got a new DVD player now, the Yamada 2100 :D , sweet little player, plays everything(cept DivX  ) AND is multiregion, plus cost less than £65, so musn't grumble about DivX(damn sight cheaper than a KISS)
