Errors while trying to encode XviD to VCD

I seem to be having problems encoding an AVI with XviD video to VCD. It always come up as a stream error or something like that. I can still encode DivX files fine, but it doesn't seem to work with XviD.

I dunno if it's the version of the codec I have or if there's a problem with my machine, can anyone help??

i did some xvid movies into svcd and they are allright.
When I started to make these conversions dvd2svcd latest version ask me for xvid latest drivers. Try to download and install new xvid codecs. It may result.

What I ended up doing was changing the FourCC from XviD to DivX and it worked fine :)
