can anybody tell me when i do a dvd rip say a movie using dvd2svcd and using cineama craft encoder the picture is perfect but say when i do a concert video when somrbody is jumping around or playing the drums and any other instrument and its dark with differnet coulored lights there are very fine lines running say a drum beat you can see the movement juder is there any way to correct this thanks when sombody shakes they head the picture is not perfect and you get very fine zig zag lines when people are moving

AT first I closed this thread because of a poor title, but I noticed you did try to edit it. I was able to edit the title so it better reflects the problem.
Concert DVD's are one of the most difficult to convert. Most people give up trying.
In this case it sounds like you need to deinterlace the video.
If the source is NTSC try shutting off Forced Film on the DVD2AVI tab and turning on SmartDeinterlace on the conversion tab.

if the concert video is pal what settings do i need to adjust either in cce or dvdsvcd thanks very much regards steve

Just as markrb stated, turn on SmartDeinterlace (under the conversion tab).
