Audio Sync (yes ive read guides)

Ive got 23fps Source, i used pulldown to make it 29fps, now the audio is out of sync, i "stretched" it and the audio goes in sync but they sound like chipmunks, then i took the original audio source and changed the framerate in besweet and again they sound like chipmunks,

my question, how the hell do i get the video and audio in sync without them sound like they are on helium?

good audio editing programs (cooledit, wavelab, many others) can change the speed and correct the pitch (or at least try too, and do it almost 100%).

besweet also has a framerate conversion (i think), so i think you can use it and nothing else.
