VBR to CBR

I want to convert an AVI with audio in MP3 VBR to an AVI with audio in MP3 CBR.

Which is the best method?

extract the mp3 using AVI2WAV, rename in mp3, decode to wav in razorlame, encode to cbr mp3 in razorlame (or may be you can re-encode directly without decoding to wav, not so sure)

Make sure to decode to WAV first to avoid those "pops" and "clicks". If you make an audio cd in Nero using VBR mp3, you will hear them.:scared:

Razorlame can't do mp3->mp3 unfortunally.
