VOB with just one ID

Hi

I'm wondering if there is an easy way to remove the VOB ID video stream but still maintain the VOB ID if it only has one VOB ID

if you try to strip it, IfOEDIT reports you are dealing with invalid VOB files

I cannot use delete playback as InstantCopy will not allow this, but is there an easy way to do it?

I still want to keep VOB ID but have as small a file as possible and for it to be blank and not be noticable during playback

I have done a quick guide HERE (http://www.deano.dsl.pipex.com/GUIDE/ifoedit.htm) (will tart it up later) on what I have just done but would like some feedback if others could try it, that's if there is not an easy way that I have missed available

im trying to understand this so here is a ?
after you do the .m2v remux the first time couldnt you just reuse the files in another place without doing this on every vob id you want to remove ?
does it take information from the original to make the new ifo's
if it gets other info from the original then this wouldnt work

If you just swap the VOB ID's the player may hang as some do not return to where they came when they come to an invalid entry

That was how I used to get rid of VOB's with single VOB ID's before, but I cannot remember if it worked just by replacing the VOB. I'm sure it did, but I used the delete playback button afterwards, whereas IC sometimes will not accept a VOB ID when delete playback used

I have an even smaller .m2v file of 0.12 seconds here which I am gonna use

By doing it the way I have shown, you not only update the IFO/BUP for that VOB but also the VIDEO_TS.IFO/BUP and will work just fine and dandy. If the VOB ID is there and it is asked to be played the screen just flashes black, normally unoticable

I am yet to upload the method to delete some of the VOB ID's but leave the VOB ID's to maintain DVD Structure as this is the problem with IC I think. It probably will handle single VOB ID VOB's as it will do all this automatically but I'd rather do this myself as it's simple to do anyway
