Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone knows if future releases of IC or DVD2ONE will have user definable quality settings? I think they're both great for a quick backup, or if you aren't too fussed about image quality.
However I'm wanting to use my backups as my play disc so I don't have to risk damaging the original. As I watch my DVD's on a 120" projector screen, any image artifacts are easily noticeable, and in my opinion detract greatly from the movie experience.
I think it would be great if the user was given more control of the transcoding settings so they can determine the final image quality according to they're needs. Maybe a basic and advanced mode of operation? Basic with a speed<---->quality slider bar with an encoding time guestimate figure, and advanced mode to give fully configurable options. Good idea, bad idea?
