ReMpeg Vs Tmpegnc

I've discovered the cause of my problems.

My problem was the out of sync in particular multiPGC titles:
Any one was in sync, other one, not.

I've recompressed with ReMpeg and all works fine.

There is another problem, now.
The quality of Rempeg IS WEAK.

VERY VERY BAD.

With Tmpgenc I compress extras of DVD at 352x576, with black bands around the frame,
to save bitrate.
I used 1800kbit/sec VBR with dual pass.
Quality was OK.

With Rempeg at 2000kbit/sec, with search set to FULL, the quality is BAD.

How I can increase the quality of compression, without increase bitrate, like TMpgenc?

or...

How I can use Tmpgenc without have sync problems in multiPGC?

ReMPEG is a compressed domain encoder, similar to DVD2One. I wouldn't use it for low bitrates like SVCD. It's ok for downsizing DVD by a few percent to fit on a DVD-R, but if you compress too much, you'll get bad results.

Don't know what your problem is with multi-PGC titles. Did you try to use DVD2SVCD?

My problem with multiPGC was in re-encoding video track to remux at the original DVD, non for create SVCD.
